Family Tree

Hi, my full name is Jacqueline Gebbia and I reside in New York. I would like to trace my family history. My paternal ancestry has its origins in Palermo Sicily. I believe my great grandparents came to the states back in the 1900's. They settled in New Orleans and then eventually New York City. I'm just curious to see if there is anyone out there that I may not be aware of, who shares the same last name. I never met anyone who has! I would also like to hear from anyone overseas who might be able to provide any information about my family before their arrival in America. Please contact me through email only. Thank you...

Dear Jackie,
I just started researching my family tree. My great-great grandmother was Nicolina Gebbia, she was married to Joseph(Giuseppe) Cangemi (Congene) and lived in New Orleans. They had four children Mary(died at infancy) George, Gregory Nolan(my great-grandfather) and another Mary (Gagliano). Do you have any information on a Nicolina Gebbia? I have nothing on her. Please contact me by e-mail if you can help. AGI7505@aol.com

Hi Jackie,

My cousins are the Gebbias from New Orleans. Joseph Gebbia married Catherine May Mossy, and they have two daughters, Karen and Ann. Joe and Catherine May are about 70 years old. If this rings a bell, I can get more info for you. CFitzp@aol.com.

Hi, I am Beryl I am having trouble researching my family tree GEBBIE and I see your name is very similar to mine, I thought
there may be a connection somewhere. Although my family come from Ireland there is
an interesting item in their past, namely the
Spanish Armada. A relative, who has died did a family tree which has now been lost to
us and he traced our family back to a Spanish
or it could have been Italian gentleman who was on the Gerona which was sank off the Giants Causeway on the coast of Ireland when
the Armada was going to attack.

The tree I have goes back 1711 to Hugh Gebbie
m. Jane Beck and their family was Mary, Margaret, James, Andrew, Robert, Hugh, William and Jane and they all lived in County
Down, N. Ireland. If anyone can help I would
appreciate it.
Thanks
Beryl

Joseph,
Hi this is Glenn, son of Donald Mossy, you or you wife may remember my dad. I'm been researching the Mossy line for about 8 years now. Catherine used to tell my Dad about the Mossy line, perhaps can I jog your memory and get a reply if you have information. thanks, gmossy@washingtonian.net

Hi Glen,

I'd love to email you, but I don't have your address. It is misleading....the hotlink only goes to the names your are working on. They don't give out email addresses.

You may contact me at CFitzp@aol.com. I have lots of info for you.
