I am researching Gbur's primarily from Ohio, but I believe several are scattered through out the country: I am still trying to contect the dots on many of these families, and information would be helpful:

Michael Gbur b1884- d1949, wife Helen Lutchney (1904-1971) second wife I think...

15 Children: *George M, Ann, *Margeret Brownfeld, Hazel Adkins, Dorothy Ann Chamberlain, Andrew (Parma, Ohio area), Agnes Savel, Mary, Helen, Martin, *Joseph, Jack, Michael, **Matthew, John

*I have info on children
** My grandfather

I also have info on a John and Justina Gbur and John b1883 and Christina Gbur. John and Justina had 10 children. I have several John's, both have not been able to link them together.

The family list ethnic background as Slovakia in most cases. Most from Coitsville/Lowellville area and surrounding areas. Worked as coal miners, some in the steel mills.

Any information on anyone would be appreciated. I am especially interested in Michael Gbur (1884-1949), first wife, village/country of origin and his parents and sibs.
