Does anyone doing research know of a possible connection between a Walter Gautier (b. 1858) and Catherine Ikerd Spradley( b. 1855)? Walter and his family resided in the Jackson County MS area close to Catherine, who was a housekeeper, most likely his. A family researcher has suggested that there was a child from these two born possibly in 1878 or 1879. If any Gautier researchers know anything about this, could you please contact me? Thanks.
