He married Catherine Ann Tyson - Gautier on 10 Jan 1851 in Bladen County, North Carolina. She was born 19 Oct 1833 in Bladen Co and died 17 Jul 1913 in Kinston, Lenoir County, North Carolina.

T.N. (Thomas Nicholas Boudet) Gautier and Eliza (Elizabeth Ann) Brown - Gautier. TN was ships Captain you know him to be. My notes indicate he was born between 1764 - 1767 (Thomas Nicholas Gautier was Christened 01 APR 1767 at St Michaels Church in Bristol, Gloucester, England. Parents are Peter and Ann Gautier .... & Dictionary of North Carolina Biography, Provided his yob as 1764.)

TN's father was Peter (Pierre) Boudet Gautier b. 1729 in Arles, France. Died 11 May 1791 in Bristol, Gloucestershire County, England, U.K.
