I came across a photo of Berniece Gaunt (1913-1975) with her cousin George M. Slack in some of my mother's old photos. Berniece went on to have a singing/movie carreer between 1933-1945 under the name Shirley Ross. If anyone wants a copy of the picture I can scan it and e-mail it to you.

Berniece father was Charles Burr Gaunt and his father was George C. Gaunt who married Josephine Manville in 1883 in Gutrie County, Iowa. After George Gaunt died in 1894 she married Thomas Francis Corrigan in 1908. Thomas was the brother of Ella Bridget Corrigan and Owen Mathis Corrigan. Ella married Josephine's brother Charles W. Manville. Owen Mathis Corrigan was my mother's father which explains how she had a copy of the photo. She and Berniece were cousins by marriage twice.
