Any relative of Ione Gaskin my mother who was originallly from Mapp Hill, St.Micahel.
Her sister was the late Eudalie Worrell nee Gaskin. Her sister married Walter Worrell who was a policeman in Barbados at the outbreak of World War 2. He left and joined the Canadian Army and served overseas in Sicily and Italy. My mother is related to the Nightengales and Dottins from Dash Valley
St. George Barbados. Her mother Louise Gaskin left Barbados in 1916 for New York. Louise
Gaskin remarried a Savoury and became Louse Savoury. She had a son in New York called George
Savoury who was a policemen in New York. (Now deceased). George has a daughter called Lisa.
My mother had two cousins in New York. Winnifred and Mabel Nightengale now deceassed.
My mother and aunt's father was Cecil Mahon who owned Lower Birneys and Pegwell Plantations
in Barbados. My grandmother Louise Gaskin was a domestic servant at Lower Birneys Plantation,Barbados before she left Barbados for New York, Ione Gaskin,my mother will be 100 years old on May 1st, 2014. Any relatives of Gaskin or Cecil Mahon formerly of Lower Birneys,
