I am the grandaughter of William and Louisa Gaskin (Gascayne or Gacoyn). Louisa was his second wife. I recall my grandfather telling me about having a brother in New Mexico so maybe we are related. I am still in the Buffalo area. Matthew Gaskin (a Franciscan Friar) recently passed away and I found some interesting info about him too. It should all be in my Ancestry.com tree.

There is also a James Gaskin Jr. whose mother died (that is what they said) that also lives in the area but we don't keep in touch.

I would love to know more about my roots so any help would be great.
