Rhonda, Please get your family to join in. Having a DNA project for each family is a great idea. Being a female, I don't think you can get in on it but if you have a brother or a cousin or even your father, they could join in. Get your clan together and join the DNA for Gaskin's.

I was suprised to see there was not a GASKINS DNA project already started, so I am getting one set up at FTDNA. While the paperwork is getting done, if you are a male and carry the GASKINS surname, AND are interested in participating, please email me off list and I will send you pricing and other pertinent info. If you are female, or a male who isn't a Mr. Gaskins :), you can still help, by either helping to find someone in your line who can test, or by donating funds directly to the project for when someone from your line is found and needs help to pay for the testing.
