This is my family. John Henry Garner m. Dora Galloway. My grandmother, Mattie, was their daughter in law born in 1896. William was their son. Charles Garner, her older brother had a son "Charley" and several other children, one grew up to be a attorney and I belived played the fiddle. There was also a GW (Dubby as my mom called him when she was a child because she could not pronounce "GW") and JW Garner.
John and Dora lived in Scott, AR a small rual town between NLR and England, Arkansas. They owned a small store. John served as Postmaster. They are buried in a cemetary in Tomberlin, AR only a few miles from the old store location.
The Library in England Arkansas has a book on the history of the area and this information is included in it.
They later moved closer to the North Little Rock area.
