I need help finding Elza Garners Parents. He was born about 1817 in Carteret NC. Married Mary Foreman 17 April 1840. They had 5 Children. Hetty, Alexander, Eliza, Jacob and Ann. Iv done a lot of research on him and cant find anything linking him to his parents. In the 1850 Census there is a Vashti Foddery b about 1830 living with them. I had found the name Vashi, Vashti, Vesty a lot with the Garners but cant link anything with her. Anyone?
