DEATHS IN DISTRICT.
G. M. GARNER RITES.

BLOOMFIELD---Funeral services were conducted today for George M Garner, 80 years old, of near Bell City. He died on Saturday. Mr. Garner was a farmer.
The rites were at the General Baptist Church of Bell City, and Rev. Ernest Elledge had charge, with arrangements by Chiles. Burial was at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Garner was born on June 30, 1879 near Jonesboro, Ark., but lived all of his life after he was 8 months old in Stoddard County. He lived many years in the Piketon and Ardeloa communities.
On Jan. 21, 1905 he married Ada B. Summers. He was a member of the General Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, three sons, Herbert J Garner and Eugene Garner of Bell City, Ermer Garner of Bloomfield; three daughters, Miss Bersa M. Garner and Mrs. Esther DeLay of St. Louis and Mrs. Estelle Jennings of Bell City. There are 8 grandchildren.
