Sara E. Garity, 71, of San Diego died Tuesday. She was born in Superior, Neb., and was a homemaker. Survivors include her sons, Pat Garity of El Cajon and Bill Garity of Estacada, Ore.; sister, Susan Howell of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. No services were planned. Interment: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma. Donations: American Cancer Society, 2655 Camino del Rio N., Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92108-1633.
