Hello,
My name is John H. Garbrandt II. I am the grandson of John H. Garbrandt I and live in Newcomerstown, Ohio currently. I am hoping to find links in my family history. The line I have listed on the Garbrandt side stops after Zachariah. His birth date is about 1797. If you can help me, that would be great.

Thank you

I saw a message talking about Major Chuck Lacy who was a football coach for the Berlin Bears.

I was stationed in Berlin between 1956 and 1958 and played on the Berlin Bears' Command Level Football team in 1957 and 1958. At that time Coach Lacy was the head coach and we won the Northern League Championship each of those years.

I would love to know how to contact him if he is still living.

In recent years I have only been in contact with one former teammate from that era ------ Bill Hunt who lives in Dallas, Texas.

While I was in the military I was known as Walt Keener. Walter is my first name but I have always answered to Ken or Kenneth except with I was in the Army.

Any information about Lacy would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Walt (Ken) Keener
281.658.1567
kkeener@escapees.com

I shall never forget him. He was an officer and a gentleman. I am in contact with several football players who were there when he was and feel the same way I do. If I am not mistaken he coached at West Point also.

Dang,

I thought I might have found a connection.. Oh well. The only uncle I know of is George and he isnt living anymore. I am trying to find more of the family. My dad was pretty secretive about his family. I dont know why. If you have anymore names just email me back.

Ted
