I have the photocopied birth/death bible pages from Samuel A. Garber b. Apr. 1 1806, m. Nov. 27 1827 to Lydia Arnold b. Aug. 23 1808.
They bore 9 children, but in the winter of 1844 he burried his wife and all but 3 of his children, victims of a cholera epidemic. He remarried Mary Long b. Aug 11, 1820 and she bore him 5 more children. I am descended from #2, Sarah Garber b. Oct. 14 1846. Does anyone know where they were from? Could be Maryland, Washington County, or Illinois, or Ohio? - Sarah
