My father tells me that our name; Charleson, is a translation of the Armenian name Garabedian; changed when our family emmigrated to the US. Could be, who knows.

My mother in law (Garabedian) said that's what the english translation is of Garabedian, Garabed-meaning Charles and ian-meaning son.
