Like many other individuals looking for a link to their past, I too do not have a wealth of information about my family history. I know my grandmother, Martha, immagrated to the US from Greece with her husband Anthony. Before them, I do not have any information and would like to have the knowledge of our past. I would like to complete at least a list of names for my family tree. If you think you might be related or might have any information that is helpful, please e mail me at: KristenG359@aol.com
Thanks

The only information, I have is that my father was born in 1913 in Lithuania and came to England in 1948 and married my mother and had two children one is myself and the other is my sister. I do know that he had aunts on his maternal side, their names were minnie and ada. Does it ring a bell with you.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Debbie

I know most of my family in the U.S., but I am trying to find my relatives in Greece for my family history. My grandfather Nickolas Ganas came to the U.S. in the late 1800's. with his brothers, who we call: Bill, Pete, Ted & Mike . I know that Bill & Pete returned to Greece. No one knows where. I am the the daughter of James J. Ganas, my grandfather's youngest son. Other family first names here include: George, Themis, Marie, Greg. My great grand parents may have had the Americanized names of George and Marie. Any leads would be wonderful.

Hi there. I wanted to let you know that I would like to know more about the Ganas family also. My grandmother was Themis Ganas, her brothers were Greg, George and Jim, her sister was Marie. My great-grandfather was Nicolas Ganas. I was able to find out that he lived in a place called Perio, (somewhere in Greece). He came to the United States March 12, 1907, he was 24 years old. I have been curious about family in Greece. I'm glad to know his brother's names. Thank you for posting.
