Barbara,
The names you have mentioned are not ones I have come across so far. This is due to the fact, I believe, I have yet to make a connection with the Gammages from UK who came to Australia and the Gammages from UK who went to USA. It is becoming apparent the gammages to USA happened earlier than the Gammages to USA so possible we are talking descendants of brothers possibly in the 1700s. Names I have come across are Endersby (who go back to the 1650s), Coleman, Carver, Hennessy, Pinfold, Coleman among others. I have a Gedcom file of my and my daughter's research so far. It is difficult to make some connections since I think some records were lost during the 1940s blitz. It does seem the Gammages might have comefrom Middlesex. Send me your contact details if you want the file. My e-mail is igammage@bigpond.com. There is a branch of Gammages in Canada as well. Cheers, Ian
