Hello Cousin,
I see you have been doing a great job on helping others. Good on you. Been off the air lately due to a little fight with another cancer which I now have under control. Only about 30% hair coverage but after a fight since 1987 its not going to get me.
That aside. Are you aware of any Gammage males we can DNA test? I have done the full package and we know that William's branch of Gammages test differently.
Note I will be seeing William in the USA between 29 Mar and 3 Apr 09 if you can get there [unfortunately I cannot get up to you]and we will look at Gamage/Gammage connections. I plan to bring the tree with me on a portable Hard Disk Drive.
Another issue is that it would appear that the first Lord of Dillon in Ireland was a de Gamage/Gamache from the Welsh line which may open up a new line of enquiry. It would be interesting if Dillons of Irish descent had their DNA done!
I am waiting for some information to come from England. It is in Latin [which indicates its age]and has to be translated.
I do have some details of the Johnson family. Unfortunately we lost one of that line this year.
Keep in touch.
Best wishes, Ian
