Dear Jane:
Have I been in contact with you before? I transcribed some Ardara records that matched up with the 1901 and 1911 census out there on Rootsweb that Lindel has created for our Ardara and surrounding townland ancestors. I am going to do a book when I have the Gallagher Griffiths records done, as many of the records I transcribed did not fit in with the 1901 or 1911 census and I know they would be invaluable to many people researching.
Anyway, our Mary Gallagher married to Patrick Malloy was living in Allentown, 611 Ridge street. They had, I believe 8 children, but only two lived to maturity. Bridget, who married a Rueben Muse and had a daughter Christina, and Michael. We lost track of what happened to Christina after Bridget died and Rueben remarried and we lost track of Michael and Patrick Malloy after Mary Gallagher died in 1900. We are not sure how the Malloy's in Philly fit in. Hope maybe you can put the puzzle piece together for us!
According to Internments.net, our Mary Malloy was buried in Western Salisbury (Jeruselem) Church Cemetery in Lehigh Co. Date of death Sept 27, 1900, but the cemetery, does not have the record, so if anyone finds that tombstone again, please snap a picture of it for us. The woman that did the transcription of it for internments, now does not respond to her contact email any more.
