Ray, I just read your message regarding Andrew Galambos. I don't know if there is a connection, but there are a lot of similarities which suggest one. My husband's grandfather was Stephan Galambos who unfortunately was a real mystery person. They were in Canada for a while, about 1908) then were in Missouri where my father-in -law was born. But they were also in Pennsylvania and West Virginia where Stephen supposedly worked the coal mines. Nobody knows what happened to Stephen, but Julia, his wife, is buried in York, PA. My husband was born in Passaic and lived there until work transfered him. Most of his family is still there. Also I have heard him mention the Sabo name. I don't have much, but will be happy to share.

Dear Mary,
Around Dec. 2002 I learned that grandpa (opa) Galambos was at one time living in Leechburg(berg?), Pa. ...just east of Pittsburg, Pa. A brother Louis died in a coal mining accident at age 23 or 28..not sure right now but it is written down somewhere. He & his wife Julia left Pa. for Manville, NJ and one of his brothers lived in Passaic, NJ. That man's daughter is still alive today living near Sommerville & my two aunts. Our grandfather was naturalized as an American & got his citizenship papers in Punxataunny, Pa. Have more info at home but no copy of the birth certificate yet. My aunt might still have that. Thanks & write back soon , Ray Miller, Jr.
