Did he have a sister Angeline married to Michael Bychinski?
|
as far as I can tell he did have a sister named Angeline, unsure of husband's name (if had one) Are you related?
|
We will be related by marriage later this year. I have a Joesph and Anna Gajewski living in Wisconsin at the time of Angeline's birth in 1902. The more research I do, the more I think there were 2 different branches, in Michigan and Wisconsin.

I think u may be right, however, the names of the children and parents are nearly identical (what are the odds of that!?) also, I do not know that my great, great grandparents ever came over from Poland, as far as Buszia Mimi ever said, it was just her dad and possibly an older sibling or 2. he came over @ age 16, brother Walter sand parents stayed back in Poland. unfortunately, due to WWII many records there were lost. She tells us that he (Walter) was probably killed in a concentration camp, how true that is I/we do not know, as u know those records are sparse! As far as I can tell, family was always Catholic, but is possible they may have been Jewish prior to WWII. unknown for sure at this time. I do know Buszia Mimi used to write letters back to that same village to "cousins" (wh/ w/ her could have been 2nd, 3rd or even more distant!). eventually lost she lost track of most of them, then the letters stopped coming. if only I had a few of them now, but after my grandparents moved from detroit, MI to Toledo, Oh, many things were gotten rid of (and they were all in Polish, so i'd have to find someone to translate (as my mom and grandma decided to keep Polish as their "secret" language reserved for birthday/Santa talk!) (btw this is Rachael's mom, Becky on here)

also, we welcome you to the family! (wheter u or another relative of yours... it's a Polish thing... the more the merrier!)

Thank you for the welcome! I ran across your tree on ancestry. You seem to have 4 different combinations of mother/children, so I can see you have been digging. Here is what I have so far. Verification that Angeline Gajewski was married to Michael Bychinski Jun 20, 1922 at St Michael's Church was through their daughter MaryAnn. She also stated her parents to be Joesph and Anna (yes, spelt Joesph). The Wisconsin Death Index also has Angeline's middle name as Frances and died 20 Jul 1982. This tree is also on ancestry.com as "Frymark Family Tree".
