I come from Gajewski, Wilus lineage and your names look unfamilar except last name. My cousin went to Poland and looked up the Gajewski name and it is like Smith here---sooooo many not all related. This is very discouraging or challenging. I will talk with you if you like-email me and we may get further on our research together with two sets of ideas and knowledge. My grand parents were Joseph Wilus Josephine Gajewski. My Aunt knows their parents we'll see if they match "they settled in Bayonne, NJ for yearsssss

Anyone PLEASE respond!!!!!!!!
THANKS SO MUCH

My grandparents were born in Poland. His name was Michael Joseph Gajewski and her name was Sophia Giancola. They lived in Lansing, Ohio at Stop 19. They came from Krakow, Poland.

My granfather, Sylvester Gajewski, immigrated to Jersey City somewhere early 1900's. His wife's name was Sophia. They had 3 children, Ida, Stanley and Joseph (My Dad).
Knowledge about my grandfather and his relatives is fuzzy but I do have cousins in NJ who may have more info.

I have talked to a lot of people who have had Gajewski relatives out west and knowing that the name is extremely popular is challenging...But New Jersey--that is good! Write me at my email address to discuss further info leads--thanks for your reply--HAPPY HUNTINGS! :)

My uncle's name was Michael and lived just north of Krakow. It may be that his son or sons came to USA. I know that Dad's step-brother was here but I know nothing about him. Write me EMail and we'll see what happens. Maybe we are related. Heddy
