Hi James,

I'm afraid I went though my entire life believing that your Uncle Henry might have been my father. However, I recently took a DNA test that showed this not to be the case. Your cousin, Linda Jones and her brother helped me finally put this question to rest.

Thanks for inquiring!

Well, here's another arm of the Heidelberger/Badener Gaier family . . . currently only Achim and Henry Gaier left, but our father Walter, grandfather Willy (Wilhelm) etc . . .

Possibly the same lineage as ours is a mis-spelled version of Geier.

Cheers,

Henry
