Re: Hyronimus Gaier, Neudorf, Germany
I THINK this may be Hyronimius GAIER: It was very difficult to figure out the spelling on this in German script but it looks right:
1813 October Gineromimius Gayer, s/o Georg Adam Gayer and Maria Josepha Dorfler or Decker. (This would make him a brother to Ferdinand Gayer/Gaier born 1810 who married Appolonia Siegel)

Re: Hyronimus Gaier, Neudorf, Germany
Hironimus Gaier was my great great grandfather. Only date I have is death date 1860 by accident when horse hitched to wagon bolted and shaft went through his stomach. Married to Barbara ___ who died 1856. They had 4 children, Blazious my great grandfather, John, Theodore, and Joseph. He remarried (don't have name) and they had 2 children, Anton (Andy) who came to Springfield, and Albert who came to Troy. Andy encouraged others to come to America and Blazious came first with 2 children, then wife Fredericka (Keifer) and other children came. The record I have says they landed in New York on same date which of course is not possible, March 7, 1890, but must be date for one of them. Joseph is not mentioned other than as a son of Hironimus. The records I have say they were from Karlsruhe, Baden.
