Hi Warren:

Sorry it took me a while to answer your message concerning the Gaiennies, but my computer was in the shop twice and I ended up having to buy a new one.

I would be delightrd if you would end me whatever you have on the Gaiennie ancestors.

Where did you get the original spelling of the name as everything that I found (including France) had the spelling of Gaiennie. I would be very interested in the original spelling.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Milton D. Altazan

I believe George Gaiennie is a cousin of mine also. My paternal grandmother was a Gaiennie. Marie Lucile Gaiennie, born NOLA 1896 (?) married to Gardner Harrell Brown. It's in my tree, I'd have to look up again. Or, invite you to the tree.

I don't see a connection in my tree, but would love to share my online tree and see what we can come up with. I would also be pleased to be able to see your tree. Contact me off list. I have collected tons of info on this family and others who lived in NOLA in the 1800's. My connection is thru the HEPP family. Please contact me off-list at jans884@bellsouth.net
