I was wondering if the Adam Gahm you are looking for information on was born in 1853. If it is then I have information on his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. I am from Samuel Peter Gahm's line. Samuel was Adam's younger brother.

Part of the information that my family has says that Samuel's middle name was Peter and part of it says that it was Mark. Are you certain that it was Peter? I am the great-granddaughter of his son Ervin. I would be interested in any information that you could provide. I would also be willing to share all the information that I have.

Franklin was the brother of Samuel Gahm. I believe that Franklin was older than Samuel. He was between Jacob and Samuel.
My dad and I are attempting to put the family history together. We have the line traced back to Simon Gahm from Germany. It seems that the first Gahm to come to America was Johannus. Johannus would have been the grandfather of Franklin and Samuel. He was also the son of Simon.
I would be more than happy to share any information that I can. I would also be interested in any names and dates that you could provide me with. I find it interesting that there are so many Gahm's in the world. I grew up thinking that it was a unique name.

Hello Maxine: My Parents live in Broken Arrow, Okla. We have been there since 1972, My Dad, Joe Gahm died Oct. 24, 1998 and I have abtained all of his records on the Gahm Family that he had started approx. 1985. I knew how much that Dad enjoyed searching, and so I wanted to continue what he had started and try too fill in any missing peices that I could find. Our family line comes off of Adam Gahm, born 15 2 1854 at Jackson Co., Ohio. Died 15 8 1919 at Emporia, Ks. My E-Mail address is RGahm@aol.com; (972) 487-1728. If you have any information that might help me going back to the time that, I know that the Gahm's on my side come from Baden (Bavaria, Germany approx. in 1835 and landed I think at Ellis Island, New York Harbor. Thank you for your response.
