COLUMBIANA – Dorothy Helen Little, 87, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio formerly of Columbiana, Ohio died Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
Dorothy was born Feb. 9, 1924, in Punxsutawney, Pa., a daughter of John U. and Nellie Burkett Gahagan.
She was a “Rosie The Riveter” during World War II, a pizza maker when her children were older and a line supervisor at The Harvest House Cafeteria. Her hobbies included playing cards with friends, baking, and traveling.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Linda (Michael) Sarabura of Middleburg Heights, Patricia Callahan of Vincennes, Ind. and Brenda (John) Balog of Canfield, Ohio; a son, Gregory Robinson of Denver; a sister, Mable (Bill) Hauger of Cincinnati; a brother, Wesley (Joanne) Gahagan of Youngstown, Ohio; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Little; her former husband, Martin Robinson; three brothers, Charles Lee, Donald B. and Delmas Gahagan; and a daughter, Karen Little.
Friends may call at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana on Thursday, April 28, 2011, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. when services will be held. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Boardman, Ohio.
