Re: GAFF : Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio
Alice Ann Sibbet would be a daughter to my GGGuncle Hugh Montgomery Sibbet. This Gaff family I have in my records and I too am trying to find more. My information says that John was born in Shady Grove Franklin Co. Pennsylvania. I am curious as to where he and his wife are buried. Any idea? This post is coming on 9 years now, so I don't know whether or not it still applies. Keep in touch, LISA

Re: GAFF : Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio
I am looking for information about Maria Gaff who married Thomas Steele in Xenia Ohio in 1818. Her father may have been John Gaff and if so lived in Xenia in 1820. I think the same John Gaff lived in Stoner township, Bourbon County, Kentucky in 1810. These are only guesses. All I know for sure is her marriage in 1818.

Re: GAFF : Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio
The graves of my gggrandparents Wm (1779-1839) & Eliz Scott (1784-1851) are in Goshen Cemetery. The latter mentions 'formerly from Franklin County, Pennsylvania'. Next to the Scotts is the Gaff family, also mentioning 'formerly of Franklin Co, Pa': George ( -1851) and Sidney McClellan Gaff ( 1808-1850) with three Gaff children that died in infancy. I'm trying to find out if the two families are connected. Any information on either family much appreciated.
