He died in Atlanta last Sunday and was buried at the West Point cemetery last Monday. William Nicholas Gachet was born 11 Nov 1862 and died 7 Apr 1918 in GA. He married Mary Fannie Collins (b 1876-d 1916. They had three children, two died in infancy. The other was Lou Ella, who married twice, first to J. W. Carter, and second to William Sherrill. WN Gachet was the son of Charles Nicholas Delaigh Gachet, 1822-1862 and Celia Jane Tranum; and, he was the grandson of Dr. Charles Clement Gachet and Nancy Stubbs.
