I am searching for an Emily Gach. She was my great grandmother's best friend. My great-grandmother's name is Hedwig Perkowska Suchon. She lived in Barnesboro,PA. Does any of this ring a bell?

I have a Walther Gach, mother is Mary Kubicz Gach, from Barnesboro, PA. She has a sister-in-law Johanna Pajerski Gach, with an adopted daughter Casmira? Any connection?

Can you tell me where Spangler/Barnesboro is? I have family whose name was Mackiewicz and was changed to Miscavage. They lived in Connecticut. I'm working on a lead to get the first name of this relative. A cousin is sending me a photo of the man. Is your Miscavage family from the Wilkesbarre/Scranton, PA area, Braddock, PA area, Chicago, IL, Flint, MI, Toledo, OH or Connecticut. This is where most of my Mackiewicz family has lived since the early 1900's.

I have found an Ursula Gach in the Hamburg, Germany area. We have been writing to each other and have spoken on the phone for a little over one year. She has a sister Meike as well as other family I learn about as we go. We have mutually decided we are distant cousins even though we have no proof. So, I'm willing to say that you too are Meine Kusine and may write if you would care to. Since most of the family who had the geneological information is now deceased, we may all have to either trust public records or just agree we are family and enjoy one another's company.

How exciting - my grandmother's maiden name was Miscavage - but that was shortened from Mackiewicz (spelling might be a little diffent - but I think it is close enough) Basil is the one who immigrated here. They settled in Bakerton PA. Spangler is between Barnsboro and Altoona area. He didn't speak english, my grandmother spoke both, and my mom was just english. My grandmother Josephine Miscavage Gach has alsheimers now so my history is very sparse.
