Mary Gaa b. 1890 Columbus

Surnames: Gaa
Hi... I have a mystery in my Gaa line. I recently found that there was a Mary Gaa born and/or christened Nov. 12, 1890 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. She was the daughter of John Christoph Gaa (1853-1928) and Anna Barbara Bastel Gaa (1855-1916). The record is in the Ohio, Births and Christening Index, 1800-1962, and can be found at https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XD1H-Z41.
She must have died before 1900 because she is not in the 1900 census with the family or in any subsequent records, but I have not found any record of her death. Nor is she in a family photo taken circa 1902. It also doesn't seem possible that this record could refer to either of the Gaa daughters born before or after her - Elizabeth Gaa, born June 9, 1889, and Helen Gaa, born July 15, 1894. It seems likely that her death would have been recorded at St. Peter's Church or possibly St. Francis of Assisi Church, which was established in the early 1890s and counted the John Gaa family among its parishioners. But I don't know how to access those records, if it's possible.
Any clues or suggestions?

Couldn't find anything in the St. Peter's records. Looks like the last of their children
baptised there was Eva Catharine Gaa on September 20, 1885.

Since John and Barbara are buried at St. Joseph's I checked the Ohio USGenWeb Tombstone
Project and found that there is a page for both St. Joseph Cemetery and Mount Calvary
Cemetery, however, there's no info yet.

The plus side is that the Mount Calvary Cemetery page has some contact info for both
cemeteries.

Here's the links to the Tombstone Project and Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Thanks, Norm... I just called St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are 10 Gaas buried there, but not this Mary. There are no Gaas buried at Mount Calvary.
One more interesting tidbit concerning this Mary Gaa - in the 1900 U.S. Census they asked women how many children they had had and, of those, how many were still living. I see that Anna Barbara Bastel Gaa reported having 11 children, with all of them living. But this Mary would have meant she had borne 12 children by then. So I don't know what to make of this birth record now, given that you also found that there is nothing about her in the St. Peter's records.
If it's a transcription error in the Ohio Births and Christenings Index, it's a very odd one, given the Nov. 12 birthday that's not shared by any of the other Gaa children.
I don't know what to make of it.

Thanks - that is definitely John C. and Anna Bastel Gaa, as confirmed by the 1890 Columbus City Directory, which also lists them living at 101 Herman and John's occupation as contractor.

Don't know if you have this info for her birth.
