Hi there,
I am also researching my ancestors. The Fyffe's are from my mother's side.

I may have read over this, but I am on ancestry.com and looking to find James William Fyffe's parents.

The information that I've come across is that he is from Londonderry, Ireland born in 1713 and passed away in Maryland in 1781. He is also married to Sarah Watson - they married in 1745.

Does anyone have any other information?

Hey Ed,

I hope you still check this,
I am Steven Fife, have traced my line back to James Fyffe born 1713. I have seen a lot of controversy about where he was born Londerry, Ireland or Scotland. If you have any information about this and any ancestors of James I would greatly appreciate some help.
