I am researching my maternal grandparents and further back if posible - my grandfather was Stanley Alexander Fyfe -I think his father was Stanley Cargill Fyffe and his mother Florence Mary Fyfe - I have them as far back as 1877 and then later on in the 1881 UK census (living in 5 Rockville Tranmere I also have them on my mother's marriage certificate in 1933.

Any links to Liverpool/Cheshire Fyfes would be appreciated.

Hi Paul
I have an Ida Paulina Bathgate Fyfe born Liverpool in 1833 in my Fyfe family tree. I can't work out the link but she shows up on Records show that she married an Alfred Askew.

She first appears in my family in the 1901 census as a "niece" to my ggrandfather named Valentine Primrose Fyfe resident in Fenton Stoke on Trent. She then appears again in the 1911 census as a "daughter" to my ggrandfather again in Stoke on Trent, but I have no way of verifying who her parents were or how she is linked to my line of the Fyfe family in Staffordshire. Not sure you have any info on Ida, but she definitely was born in Liverpool. Apologies if i've confused you further!!
