I just came across this lady - Nancy Fullilove born 1765 died in 1837. She married a John Absolom Davis. They had a son named Thomas Fullilove Davis. Several generations later I have a gg grandfather named Thomas F. Davis born in Tennessee. Nobody in the family has been able to figure out what the F. stood for? Could it be a decendant of Fullilove? Did they branch off to Tennessee from Virginia, Georgia or Alabama? Thank you for any light you can shed on this? My Thomas F. born 1859 died 1908 his father was also Thomas Davis but middle initial unknown or non-existant born circa 1820 also says TN on census. Co-incidently, he also named his second daughter Nancy Davis.
