The Silver Book for Edward's lines says that Capt. Matthew (b. ca. 1603, came to Plymouth 1640) is the son of Edward Fuller of the Mayflower. The book cites an article in The American Genealogist, (vol) 61:194-96, to support this. I have not read the article. Does anyone know where I can find it online?
