TICKER, FUBLER Bermuda Lookup Assistance

Posted: 8 Sep 2003 11:26PM GMT
Classification: Query
Surnames: TUCKER, FUBLER
I am seeking any information I can find related to my great-grandmother Blanche Tucker.

Per the handwritten 1920 US census card, she was 34 at
the time of the census living as a border in New York,
NY with a Mr. Robert DeShields as a seamstress.

I recently found out that she was an only child and pregnant with my grandmother, Olive Tucker-Wright (born 12/25/1903 also an only child) at the time she came from Bermuda to NY so she had to conceive in March of 1903 in Bermuda. I also found that she never registered for a social security card and was therefore never really a "legal" US citizen. The 1930 US census record shows that she was then 43 years old, married to David Dorsey in Tarrytown, NY and that's where the info ends.

I still have relatives on the island with the surnames
Tucker and Fubler. They stay in contact with and call
my aunts in NY, but I've never really known them.

Any info you could provide would be most helpful.

Thanks & God Bless,
-G-
