My grandfather was William F. Friel the son of Hugh Friel and Anne McAteer, he was born 1872 in County Donegal, Ireland and died 1936 in Ridley Twp., Delaware Co., Pa. and buried in St. Michael's Cem. in Chester, Delaware Co., Pa. My grandmother was Grace M. Boyle daughter of Henry Boyle and Grace Ward, she was born 1875 in County Donegal, Ireland and died 1945 in Ridley Twp., Delaware Co., Pa. and buried in St. Michael's Cem. in Chester, Delaware Co., Pa. William and Grace were married 1897 in St. Michael's RCC, and had the following children; Magdalen, born 1899; William A., born 1900; Ann, born 1902; Grace W., born 1903; Matthew S., born 1906; Henry L., born 1907; Hugh J., born 1909 and Leonard C., born 1912. All the children were baptized in St. Michael's RCC, Chester, Delaware Co., Pa. The following may have been siblings or cousins to my grandparents; Charles Friel and Ellen Boyle; Matthew Shanley and Susan Nullinger; Patrick and Bridget Waugh (nee Boyle); Thomas and Ellen Maguire (nee Boyle); Matthew and Grace Shanley (nee Friel); Henry Boyle and Mary J.
