I have recently been appointed the genealogist for the Freer-Low Family Association. This association focuses on the Freer family that settled in New Paltz, New York and has Huguenot roots. Teresa Wilson has recently retired from this position. I'd like to thank her for all the hard work she has done.

If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me at freergenealogy@ameritech.net. I will do look-ups in the published genealogies, some basic searches, and try to point you in the right direction. We all have brickwalls, and sometimes it takes an extra pair of eyes to tear those bricks down.

My current focus and easiest to research due to accesibility are the families that have settled in Wisconsin and Michigan as well as the civil war.

The Association has mentioned the desire to publish a new genealogy, so we need everyone's assistance to update your families.

I am also the administrator of the Freer list at Rootsweb and have just requested to adopt this message board.
