Does any one have definitive primary proof that Samuel Freeman who married Sarah Turner is the son of Ralph Freeman and Sarah Capron. Bellingham VR show that Samuel Freeman (Treeman) and Mrs. Elizabeth Clark published marriage intentions 22 Sept. 1771. This happens to be the same date that appears in many trees for the date of marriage of Samuel Freeman and Sarah Turner. I can find NO record of a marriage to Sarah Turner.
