Hello Virginia, Do you have an estimated date of birth for Jason? Have you found a death certificate? Have you tried tracking him through the Census? Fredenburg, Vredenburgh, and variations are sometimes used with great liberality. I've seen one of my Fredenburgs listed as Vundenburg, for example. Good Luck!
