Funeral services for Amos Fraley, 79, Elliottville (Rowan Co.), who died Tuesday, March 8 {1983}, were conducted at 1 P.M. Friday at the Lane-Stucky-Back Funeral Home in Morehead by Frank Cornett and Clifford Price, Ministers. Burial was in the Fraley Cemetery Rowan County.
Mr. Fraley was born July 4, 1903, in Rowan County, a son of the late James M. and Mirah Hall Fraley. His first wife, Mrs. Lucille Purvis Fraley, died in 1934.
Surviving are his second wife, Mrs. Mary Slone Fraley; a son, James Fraley of Haldeman; eight daughters; Mrs. Faye Reeves and Mrs. Amanda Slone, both of Olive Hill, Mrs. Mildren Johnson of Albraso, Ind., Mrs. Lillian DeHart of Haldeman, and Mrs. Hildreth Gibbs, Mrs. Tina Lewis, Miss Charlene Fraley, and Mrs. Lisa Hall all of Elliottville; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
