PINEHURST: Barbara Ann Atchison, 71, of Pinehurst, N.C. passed away on August 24, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Born on January 6, 1941 in Cambridge, Ohio (Guernsey County) to the late Frances and Ronald L. Frakes, Sr.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years Richard L. Atchison in 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Kauffman and her husband David of Pinehurst; two step-daughters, Deb Buttorff of Tacoma, WA and Molly Raymond and her husband Mike of Fairfax Station, VA; one brother, Ronald Frakes, Jr. and his wife Pamela and their children, Dwayne Frakes and Jennifer Birkhimer of Coshocton, OHIO; one grandson who she treasured and adored, Caleb Fitch-Kauffman; and five step-grandchildren, Christine, Gail and Doug Buttorff and Lindsay Weston and Ashley Raymond.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Bundy-Law Funeral Home in Cambridge, OHIO.

A memorial service will be held immediately following at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
Inurnment to follow at Northwood Cemetery.
