My Grandmother was a foyster, Nellie, she married Clifford harry alden and they had three children, Olive,Donald and my mother Joan. I know that my mother had an uncle Frank.

hi alan - you might be a cousin! my mum was a foyster, rose, and had a younger sister called doreen born in lee green, london - they had lots of other brothers and sisters.

Audrey Foyster, Rusell Foyster, Herbert James Foyster

audrey was my mother and my uncle was Rusell, their father was Herbert James better known as Bert.

as i understand it there were a large family of foysters in liverpool. my great aunts were Hilda and Mable they never married and worked for the telephone service.

the reason i do not know too much is there was a very very bitter divorce between audrey (Hall) and her husband. nobody spoke much after that.

Audrey was born in wesrtcliff-on-sea.
Rusell died of TB which he caught whilst convalessing from injuries after Monte Cassino

there was a samuel foyster who died in the grassmoor colliery pit disaster in 1933. i am his great granddaughter. although it is obviously a completely different samuel foyster just thought i'd let you know! we have the newspaper reports of his death from the local newspaper too if you'd be interested in any of it?
