Hi Patty,

I just recently discovered a connection to Simon Foy after YEARS of searching. The one thing that I need now to prove beyond any doubt that he is my 4th great grandfather is a will or estate administration for him. Do you, or anyone else out there, know if either of these exist?

Thanks so much for any help from anyone.
Kathy

I don't have much information available to me right now. It is in a box in my spare closet. I am sure I have what he did for a living and more about his family. I will try to get to it shortly. What little I have in my program is this: "William and James Sims, brothers of Parish, helped to establish Sims Settlement in Alabama. Molly, a sister married Benjamin Murrell. Charlotte, another sister, married Simon Foy and another sister, name unknown, married John Maples. Murrell, Foy and Maples were members of the Settlement party."

Information about Simon Foy and Charlotte Sims was obtained from ancestry.com One World Tree
