I am the great-grandson of George Edward Rogers(1880-1936) and Amberzine Fowler(1890-1968).

Both were born in Union County, SC. They are buried at Rosemont Cemetery in Union, SC.

Amberzine was the daughter of Ellen Wright or Woolwright (1859-1935).
Ellen's parents are believed to be John and Elizabeth/Eliza Wright/Woolwright.

Amberzine's father was called Jack Fowler. I can find no record of him and he died before the 1900 census that listed Ellen as a widow and head of household.

The Fowler children as I have them listed are as follows:
Robert Smith Fowler (1881-?)
Lonnie Fowler (1883-?)
Eliza Fowler (1885-1964)
Amberzine Fowler (1890-1968)
Beulah Fowler (1892-1970)

Ellen's second husband was Lewis Bullocks (1865-1931). She had 3 additional children with Lewis.

It is also known that George Rogers had a sister named Placida or Placeder. I can find no record of her in census records (though I found a listing for a sister name Ida, possibly.)
