Backing up to the 1920 Census, it shows Lucille living with her step-father and mother, Henry and Dollie Laspe.

Moving forward, the 1930 census Henry and Dollie Laspe have a granddaughter Murriel Pieniening (Pienieng) age 6, living with them (whose mother was born in Iowa). I believe Murriel is the living sister you are seeking. Now the question is...how do you find her?
