according to my g grma beatrice ford (jenkins)her grpa was cherokee indian . he never claimed his children . though his wife margaret had 5 of them . she(margaret) was always head of house but married until she was a widow on 1880 census . i had marriage info from ark a ??? ford m: margaret ??? in 1835. some how all my m: info and a lot of my census have disappeared from my tree ? all of the children seemed to disappear into thin air . except james urvin ford her youngest son my gg grpa stayed in the area . his death cert. states father unknown.now i found a M: info on mary ford she m: charles terry (that disappeared also)margaret had the 2 terry boys when charles died in civil war. got death cert. for one of the boys john terry . mother unknown .any ideas or any info please. this has been making nuts for years.
