james urvin ford of missouri was my gg grpa his mother was margaret according to his death certificate she was also a ford . unless they just did not know her maiden and left it at ford . his father is always hidden no info . all i know is 1880 she was a widow . she could have been widowed by 1870 census does not ask that in 1770 . did he die in civil war ? her last child was abt 1855 james urvin . i really dont know where to go with this.i am not finding her receiving any militery pensions either . this has been a struggle for me any info is greatly appriciated i keep hoping it will tie in some where
