I'm looking to contact anyone who is descended from Alexander FORBES b. abt. 1901 Scotland, came to the US abt. 1922. He married Gladys WAMBOLD b. 1912 Staten Island, NY on 20 Oct 1928 on Staten Island.

On the 1930 census they had one child, a daughter Mary.

1930 Alex & Gladys lived at 73 Seymore Ave, Port Richmond next door to Gladys' aunt Bertha LEWIS nee SKERRITT and her husband John LEWIS.

Gladys' mother was Marion / Maria WAMBOLD nee SKERRITT who was Bertha LEWIS's sister. Gladys' father was Jacob Oliver WAMBOLD.

I would like to find out if there were more children born after the 1930 census - it seems likely that there would have been given Gladys' age - and if those children are still alive, who they married, etc.

Gladys WAMBOLD was the granddaughter of Francis Henry SKERRITT who built the Temple Emanu-el in Port Richmond, Staten Island. Temple Emanu-el has been nominated for inclusion into the National Register of Historic Places. I am also a descendant of Francis and trying to learn more about the other family branches.
