While compiling a new book for our geneagoly society I came across an Edwin H. Fookes who died with no known relatives in Sierra County New Mexico in 1913. Age 68 years. A Civil War pension application shows he was in the 1st Det Cal. and the 1880 Census shows he was born in Maryland. If this is your relative I wouold be happy to share the death record with you.
